Photo of Nikki MansoWhy did you want to be a CUE?

I became CUE because I have always been passionate about addressing societal issues in a kind and peaceful manner. Facilitating change in a way that could be accessible to everyone was something that really called me to this position. I hope to create an environment where people feel welcome regardless of their intersecting identities.

Why do you think the CUE Program is important for IU?

The CUE Program is vital for IU because it creates necessary thought and dialogue concerning social justice topics. The CUE Program encourages residents to immerse themselves in both the struggles and traditions of other cultures and social groups. CUEs strive to create a strong sense of unity in their residence hall and beyond.
