Photo of Madeline MeadWhy did you want to be a Graduate Supervisor for Diversity Education (GSDE)?

The potential for impact within this space makes me hopeful for the change that can happen within the IU community and working with wonderful people who are dedicated to social justice, diversity and inclusion makes this such an incredible opportunity to grow.

Why do you think the CUE Program is important for IU?

Not only does the CUE program provide educational opportunities for students to learn more about different movements, people etc. that have made an impact on marginalized groups, but it provides the IU community the opportunity to grow in terms of identity, diversity, inclusion and social justice, both personally, and professionally.
