Photo of Emily GrimaldiWhy did you want to be a CUE?

Advocacy and education are essential to foster consciousness and understanding about ourselves and others. As a CUE, I want to use my role to help the community grow and create an environment where students feel respected and empowered in their identities.

Why do you think the CUE Program is important for IU?

The CUE Program encourages dialogue about identity and provides students a safe place to explore their own identities. Students come to campus with unique experiences and knowledge, and it is important to enhance our preexisting understandings with education, conversations, and relationships at IU.
