Why is diversity education important?
Diversity education is important to me because it helped me understand myself in relation to the world around me. It gave me the language to describe my own experiences with identity and opened my eyes to others life experiences too. It provided me the skills to grow into a better person and made me more curious and willing to learn new things. Everyone can benefit from diversity education because it can give you the tools to learn how to understand, respect, and treat others with kindness.
