ashante_sims.jpgWhy did you want to be a CUE?

I want to be a CUE so that I can immerse myself in an environment of others that do not think, look or act like me and see how we can learn from each other, promote and share differences and experiences, and break social barriers.

Why do you think the CUE Program is important for IU?

The CUE program is important for IU because we need to examine what diversity truly means and understand what students' experiences are. We [students] get to represent the communities we come from, and I aim to strike some type of change, big or small, it all counts.
